A little autumn story from my vintage home.🍁🥰 Autumn has a special way of making ordinary days feel beautiful. The changing colours, the sound of the rain, the fresh air, and the little things we do at home always remind me to slow down and enjoy the moment. This vlog begins with a lovely autumn day when Mohammad and I visited an apple and pear orchard. The place was full of life, with families enjoying the autumn atmosphere and little stalls filled with seasonal products. I picked fresh apples and filled my basket, already imagining all the delicious things I could make with them. The next day, I brought those beautiful apples into my kitchen and started making something sweet. I prepared a simple homemade apple treat with eggs, brown sugar, milk, vanilla, flour, baking powder, and freshly chopped apples, cooking little apple pancakes in a pan. Then I made fresh apple juice with the apples we had picked. The taste of freshly pressed apple juice was so lovely! I took everything outside, set the table in the garden, and enjoyed a beautiful autumn afternoon with Mohammad. We even let our chickens wander around the garden while we enjoyed our homemade treats and the gentle sunshine. These are the simple moments I wish I could keep forever. 🍎 Later, I went into my little cottage to work on an autumn craft I had been imagining for a while. I collected a beautiful fig leaf from our garden and used air-dry clay to create a leaf-shaped holder, pressing the natural leaf texture into the clay. I carefully shaped it and left it to dry, excited to see how it would turn out. While the clay was drying, it was time to prepare dinner. I made stuffed mashed potatoes filled with seasoned minced meat and turmeric, topped with a creamy homemade béchamel sauce and melted cheese. I also prepared a fresh autumn salad with cucumber, pomegranate, avocado, lemon juice, and crisp lettuce leaves. I love adding seasonal ingredients and little details to make our meals feel special. After about 48 hours, my clay creation was ready for the next step. Outside, the weather had changed completely. It was a rainy, cloudy autumn day, with fallen leaves scattered across the ground and the wind gently moving through the garden. I brought my little project into my room, turned on the lights, and began painting it in beautiful autumn colours. I started with orange and slowly added shades of yellow and green to bring the leaf to life. As I painted, the soft light of my room and the sound of the autumn weather made the whole experience feel like a little art therapy session. Sometimes, making something with our own hands is all we need to feel calm, present, and connected to ourselves. My finished leaf-shaped holder can be used in different ways — for tissues, little notes, or even small art supplies. But for me, the most beautiful part was enjoying the process and watching a simple piece of clay turn into something special. Thank you for spending these autumn days with me. I hope this little vlog brings you a sense of warmth, peace, and inspiration, wherever you are. 🌻 What is your favourite thing about autumn? Do you enjoy baking with seasonal fruits, creating little handmade decorations, or simply spending a quiet afternoon at home? I would love to hear from you in the comments.🥰 #AutumnSlowLiving #ApplePicking #CozyCooking #AutumnDIY #SlowLivingVlog #VintageHome
