n this video I’m making a small t-shirt quilt using 8 shirts and one appliqué center block. I walk you through: • How I cut and measure the shirts • The interfacing I use to stabilize knit fabric • My simple layout formula for t-shirt quilts • A peek at the appliqué center block • And the finished quilt reveal T-shirt quilts don’t have to be complicated. My basic formula is: Cut out your designs Interface the shirts Lay them out and decide on sashing (or not!) Sew them together And don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Quilts are forgiving.
