Photos from the Wides' family archives. This selection shows some of the Culm Valley Railway which used to link Hemyock with Tiverton Junction, for mainline trains; Culm Valley Dairy, later owned by Unigate; and some of farming & other work in Hemyock, which was largely a farming community. This amazing archive containing decades of research, reference books, and photographs was generously donated to the Blackdown Archives by the Wide family. These photos cover times before the advent of mass communications.
