The DCU continues to move forward with James Gunn and Peter Safran co-leading DC Studios. Creature Commandos, Superman, Peacemaker Season 2, and Supergirl have been the canonical DCU projects released so far under the Gods and Monsters slate, with Lanterns and Clayface set to release later this year. Many have demanded projects centered on certain fan-favorite characters or teams that have yet to be formally announced by any trade publications or anyone from DC Studios. These range from highly requested team-ups, like Batman and Superman working together as the World's Finest, eventually leading to a Justice League film, to solo projects centered on heroes like The Flash, Green Arrow, and a Green Lantern theatrical movie after the Lanterns HBO series. Characters like Wonder Woman have already been announced to be getting their own solo movie.
