The Victory Grips Tactical line of grips has thumb guard that should cradle the underside of the thumb area. Make sure you are not wearing the grips too low such that the thumb guard digs into the bottom of the palm at the wrist. This will also cause the grips to feel like they are too small and not fit correctly. The wrist strap should be worn snug agains the bottom which ensures proper wear of the thumb guard and fit of the grips.
