Explore the history of the Emirates international route map from 1985 to 2026. This animated map follows Emirates-operated passenger routes from Dubai, including openings, suspensions, resumptions, fleet changes and major airline partnerships. This English, data-driven aviation documentary maps 342 evidence-qualified destination-service periods across 167 historical destination lineages. It visualises individual route openings, suspensions, resumptions, fleet introductions and exits, major airline partnerships, lounge and product milestones, and the COVID-era network collapse and recovery through the official route-map observation of 26 July 2026.
