"The Sphere" - Back at the NYC World Trade Center

After many years, Fritz Koenig's masterpiece 'The Sphere' (Große Kugelkaryatide) - the only large object to survive the 9/11 2001 destruction of New York's WTC Twin Towers- was finally brought back to the World Trade Center site - where it now stands as a memorial for the many victims that were lost that day and as a symbol of hope and endurance - for all New Yorkers and the world !
