Wright Electroliner EVs have recently started appearing on route 247. These are not allocated to the route, As they are allocated to route 86, which recently converted to a full electric operation. New Vision Zero Electroliner EVs have been ordered for route 247. These will have LED blinds, And will enter service in 2025. Enviro 400s and Enviro 400 MMCs still run on route 247, as the route has not fully converted. Route 247 runs from Barkingside Station, To Romford Station. The route runs via Fullwell Cross (Barkingside), Hainault Station, The Lowe (Hainault), Yellowpine Way, The City Pavillion, Collier Row, Collier Row Roundabout, Romford Bus Garage, And Western Road. Route 247 runs around every 10 minutes Mondays to Saturday, And every 20 minutes on Sundays and evenings. Route 247 runs from 05:20 until 00:25. Route 247 is 8 miles (13 km) long. Route 247 is run by Stagecoach London. The route runs from Romford (NS) garage, And is currently allocated Enviro 400s. Route 247 has a peak vehicle requirement of 11. Route 247 connects to several rail lines, including... The London Underground Central line at Barkingside and Hainault, The Elizabeth Line at Romford, The London Overground Liberty Line at Romford, And National Rail (Greater Anglia) at Romford. Route 247 will be retained by Stagecoach London using Electroliner EVs from the 22nd of March 2025. Route 247 commenced operation on the 4th of September 1982.
