Did the lack of a wind check by ATC cause a 21 Air Boeing 767 to overrun the runway at Miami or was it something else? Could it have been, no speed brakes, no reverse thrust, or even a go-around attempt with about 930 feet of runway remaining? The NTSB’s preliminary report details the final moments of 21 Air Flight 7598, the aircraft struck two vehicles, killing five people on the ground and seriously injuring three others.
