Brooke makes it very clear to Whip that nothing sexual will ever happen between them. She admits that she loves sex but says it’s Whip she doesn’t care for. Whip challenges Brooke to prove she is over Deacon. Bridget is stung by her failed seduction attempt and asks Deacon what she’s doing wrong. Deacon claims nothing and denies having an affair. Bridget runs off. Deacon gets a phone call from Brooke telling him that he has to make Bridget his number one priority. When Bridget returns, Deacon passionately makes love to his wife. Whip guarantees Brooke that it will get easier and then decides to leave while he’s ahead.
