I love my Subaru Ascent, but there's one thing I can't stand…all the chrome. After upgrading the wheels on my 2019 Subaru Ascent, the factory chrome trim stood out more than ever. So for Episode 3 of Tuner Dad, I'm blacking it all out using three different methods: replacement parts, spray paint, and vinyl wrap. What I thought would be a quick weekend project turned into multiple days of garage work, late nights, and juggling family life. Because sometimes that's just how it goes as a Tuner Dad.
