Martin (1992) Cast Reveals What Most Fans Never Figured Out

Martin (1992): 15 insane behind the scenes facts you never knew Tichina Arnold revealed that whenever a big celebrity guest showed up, Pam often got written out of that episode, because the money for her part went to the guest. Her contract only guaranteed seven out of every thirteen episodes, so she never knew if Pam was in the next show until the scripts arrived. She called it very humbling. The cast never saw Sheneneh or Jerome before the cameras rolled. Martin Lawrence refused to let them see the costumes, which is why every reaction looks genuinely shocked. Carl Payne says roughly eighty percent of the show was improvised, and when a guard dog never showed up on set, they invented the whole scene around a fake one. Snoop Dogg's very first acting job was on this show. Jackie Chan guest starred and then offered Lawrence a buddy cop movie called Rush Hour, and he turned it down because the money wasn't enough. Episode 129 was a secret Pam spin off pilot with an unknown Tyrese, and Fox just quietly dropped it. And the bonus: out of the entire cast, only one person appeared in all 132 episodes, through the lawsuit, the absences and the chaos of the final season. ⏱ Timestamps in the video 👇 Which fact surprised you the most?
