These are previously published Last Denial case analyses. Follow the questions, the complete answers within the selected exchanges, and the difference between what each man says and what investigators can check. THE CASES 1. ALEXANDER ROGERS — ROOM 8 In his August 13, 2025 interview, Rogers challenges investigators to produce a weapon or a recording. The questions turn to a discarded phone, his account of a visit, and the detective's statement that a surviving witness identified him. According to the Cowlitz County Prosecuting Attorney, Rogers later pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and second-degree attempted murder on December 4, 2025. He received 503.25 months, approximately 42 years. That plea came after this interview. 2. MICHAEL DREJKA — THE CAMERA CHALLENGE On July 19, 2018, Drejka shot Markeis McGlockton outside a Clearwater-area convenience store following a confrontation over a disabled parking space. McGlockton had pushed him to the ground. Detectives question what happened next: whether McGlockton advanced or moved back. Drejka was convicted of manslaughter in 2019 and sentenced to 20 years. His conviction and sentence were affirmed on appeal in 2021. 3. RUSSELL WILLIAMS — HIS OWN BOOTS On February 7, 2010, Detective Sergeant Jim Smyth interviews Williams while investigators search for Jessica Lloyd. A footwear comparison becomes a turning point. Williams later pleaded guilty and received two concurrent life sentences for the first-degree murders of Jessica Lloyd and Corporal Marie-France Comeau, with no parole eligibility for 25 years.
