I Witnessed History at Deoghar Airport ✈️ | First-Ever Night Commercial Flight

16th April 2025 — a night at Deoghar Airport that I will always remember. ✈️ I was fortunate to be aboard IndiGo 6E2231 from Delhi to Deoghar, on what became a historic journey — the first-ever night commercial flight arrival at Deoghar Airport. As we approached Deoghar, darkness had already set in. And after landing came an unforgettable welcome — a spectacular water-cannon salute for the aircraft. Watching the water cannons arch over our aircraft was a truly special experience. It was not just an arrival; it felt like being part of a moment in Deoghar's aviation history. But this journey had an even more personal connection for me. Almost three years earlier, in July 2022, I had travelled on the inaugural commercial flight to Deoghar. So, being back again for another milestone was a wonderful feeling. From experiencing Deoghar's first commercial flight in 2022 to witnessing its first commercial night arrival in 2025 — I feel fortunate to have experienced both journeys firsthand. And the experience continued the following morning, when I visited Baba Baidyanath Mandir, offered my prayers, and sought Baba's blessings.
