Hulleys loaned Scania L94UB Solar FJ55BZT

Loaned from Connexions Buses at the time, this transpired in being my last ride with Hulleys before their demise. This rather tired Solar certainly struggled on the hills, but a sign of the times that it was more reliable than most of what the companies old fleet consisted of. It’s since returned to Connexions in Yorkshire, with the 63 route having passed to Stagecoach. It’s also worth noting this bus was formerly Trentbarton’s 691, used on the Sixes, so was returning to its old haunts whilst operated by Hulleys. This bus was serving route 63: Chesterfield Coach Station to Matlock Bus Station Via: Wingerworth, Clay Cross and Kelstedge. Filmed in March 2025
