Fear at The George Jarvis School ft. Exploring the Entity

What happens when the scariest thing inside a haunted building… is your own imagination? We headed to the allegedly haunted George Jarvis School in Herefordshire for a paranormal investigation with a difference. For the first hour, we investigated normally. No dramatic claims. No running from shadows. In fact, very little happened at all. So we decided to play with fear. We sat down and talked about the ghost stories and legends associated with the school, but we also discussed our own genuine fears and experiences, including sleep paralysis and the things that have frightened us personally. Essentially, we deliberately freaked each other out… and then went straight back inside. Would exactly the same building suddenly feel different simply because we'd put ourselves into a heightened state of fear? Would we start noticing things we'd previously ignored? And could fear itself change the way we interpreted completely normal sounds and experiences? After the introduction, this investigation has been kept as minimally edited as possible. Some sections of the initial group investigation have been shortened, but once we split off into our individual vigils, those vigils are presented uncut. That means you're seeing the quiet moments, the waiting, the noises that lead nowhere and the moments where our own nerves potentially get the better of us. No pretending that every creak is a ghost. No attempt to make the building seem more active than it was. Just a group of people, an allegedly haunted Victorian school, our own fears, some ghost stories… and the rather powerful effect fear can have on the human brain.
