NS 8118 (Stars & Stripes) Leads Intermodal South | Oak Harbor & Chatfield, OH - 10/8/26

Thursday, October 8, 2026 I continued north into Oak Harbor after 277 cleared and met with Henry at Main Street. It would only be a little bit of waiting as he was already at CP 268 ready to hop on the Toledo District. We got set up and waited for him to arrive. He got close to downtown until he stopped briefly at Ottawa Street. A minute later, he got going and continued south in Oak Harbor on the Toledo District. A few hours later, we chased 276 on the Toledo District and onto the Sandusky District down to Chatfield. We set up at the Lemert Road crossing and in 3 minutes, NS 276 flies south with the NS Stars and Stripes ES44AC on the front end with an NS AC44C6M and NS SD70ACe as mid DPUs in Chatfield on the Sandusky District.
