Is The Heart of Lorkhan Still Out There? Skyrim's "Discerning The Transmundane" - Lore & Theories!

In today's video, I wanted to discuss the side quest, Discerning the Transmundane, featured in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The quest begins with the player venturing off to Septimus Signus' Outpost. This quest is tied in with "Elder Knowledge" which has the Dragonborn looking for an Elder Scroll. Signus lives a life of isolation out in the Sea of Ghosts. However, he reveals that it's because he's trying to gain access to a Dwemer Lock Box that contains the Heart of Lorkhan. After venturing into the Dwemer ruins of Alftand, Blackreach and finally, the Tower of Mzark, the player receives their Elder Scroll as well as a Runed Lexicon. The latter explains how to get into the Lock box. Septimus finds out that you need the blood of a Dwemer. However, a blood mixture of all the surviving Mer races will do, and that's the player's next objective. Before leaving none other than the Daedric Prince, Hermaeus Mora pays you a visit. He says that Signus is nearing the end of his usefulness and that the Lock box holds many secrets. Once the contraption has been unlocked, Septimus disappears and its revealed that the Oghma Infinium is on the other side. By the end of it, the question I want to answer is; is the heart of Lorkhan still out there? Is it still on Tamriel, or has it been destroyed?
