Experience the raw and cinematic beauty of Meghalaya! 🌧️ In this scenic travel vlog, we take you on a breathtaking road trip from Guwahati to the heart of the Khasi Hills. Starting with a deep, soothing voiceover over Meghalaya's misty landscapes, this cinematic journey by Ashutosh and Ankita captures the roads, waterfalls, forests and unforgettable moments of our Meghalaya trip. From the serene waters of Umiam Lake to the mist-covered landscapes of Sohra, hidden forest roads and majestic waterfalls, every part of this journey has been captured with a cinematic touch. Even when the weather played tricks on us, the journey remained magical. 📍 PLACES WE EXPLORED IN THIS VLOG: • Umiam Lake (Barapani): Our first stop on the Meghalaya journey. Surrounded by lush green hills, the calm and scenic Umiam Lake sets the perfect mood as we begin our road trip towards Shillong and Sohra. • Sohra (Cherrapunjee): One of Meghalaya's most iconic destinations, famous for its dramatic landscapes, misty mountains, greenery and spectacular waterfalls. The journey through Sohra itself is a visual experience. • Seven Sisters Falls: One of Meghalaya's most famous waterfalls. The dense clouds didn't allow us to get the complete panoramic view this time, but they created a beautiful, mystical and moody atmosphere that we captured throughout our visit. • Reserve Forest of Sohbar Sirdarship: After Seven Sisters Falls, we take an unexpected turn onto an unfamiliar and incredibly scenic road through the Reserve Forest of Sohbar Sirdarship. Surrounded by dense greenery, mountains, mist and raw natural beauty, this unexpected detour became one of the most beautiful and memorable parts of our Meghalaya journey. • Kynrem Falls: One of the spectacular waterfalls of the Sohra region. Surrounded by the lush landscapes of the East Khasi Hills, Kynrem Falls was one of the major highlights of our day and we captured it from multiple cinematic perspectives. • Shillong City & Police Bazar: As the day comes to an end, we stop in Shillong to experience the evening city vibes before heading to the historic The Eee Cee Bakery on Jail Road, Police Bazar, where we enjoy some delicious momos and finally bring this Meghalaya journey to an end. 🎬 From Guwahati → Umiam Lake → Sohra → Seven Sisters Falls → Reserve Forest of Sohbar Sirdarship → Kynrem Falls → Shillong, this is our cinematic journey through Meghalaya.
