Hiking White Chief Canyon (1.8 Mi) | Mineral King Trail Exploration

Welcome back to ‪@beyondnature1980‬ 🏔️ In this adventure, we head up into the breathtaking backcountry of Mineral King in Sequoia National Park, taking on the trail to White Chief Canyon (1.8 miles from the main trail junction, where Eagle Lake branches off at 2.3 miles and Mosquito Lakes at 2.5 miles). Surrounded by steep granite walls, historic mine openings, and pristine subalpine scenery, this hike showcases the rugged beauty and rich history of the Sierra Nevada. 🌲 In Memory of Leonard Ray McIntyre (1939 – 2025) This journey is dedicated to my good friend, Leonard Ray McIntyre, who always encouraged me to explore the White Chief and Eagle Lake trails.
