LOOK | PBBM leads TESDA mass graduation of over 1,000 scholars in Ilocos Norte President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. leads the mass graduation of more than 1,000 scholars who receive National Certificate (NC) II to NC III completion certificates across various qualifications today, August 7, at the Ilocos Norte National High School Gymnasium in Laoag City. The graduation forms part of the 32nd anniversary celebration of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and recognizes scholars under the 2025–2026 Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) and Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) scholarship allocations of First District of Ilocos Norte Representative, Congressman Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Araneta Marcos. The graduates come from 23 TESDA-accredited training institutions across Ilocos Norte, marking another milestone in the government’s continuing efforts to equip Filipinos with industry-relevant skills and nationally recognized qualifications that improve employability and livelihood opportunities. The ceremony also features the symbolic distribution of starter toolkits and training support funds, along with live skills demonstrations and a product showcase highlighting the competencies acquired by the scholars. Joining the President are TESDA Director General, Secretary Jose Francisco “Kiko” Benitez, and Congressman Sandro Marcos. The initiative reinforces the Marcos administration’s commitment to expanding access to quality technical-vocational education, strengthening workforce competitiveness, and creating more pathways to sustainable employment and inclusive economic growth under the Bagong Pilipinas agenda. #bongbongmarcos
