Moving to a new city is one thing… actually finding your people? THAT’S a whole different story! 😂 In this video, I’m talking about my journey to find community, make new friends, and build a social life after moving to Atlanta, Georgia. As a Gen X introvert navigating life in a new city, I’m figuring out how to meet people, get out of my comfort zone, and find genuine connections as an adult. I’ve tried Timeleft, an experience designed to bring strangers together over dinner, and I’ve also looked into RealRoots. Let’s just say RealRoots is VERY expensive! 👀 I’m also considering beginner-friendly fitness classes as another way to meet people, try something new, and hopefully connect with others who are on a similar journey. But now I want to hear from YOU! 💕 How are you finding friends and building community in Atlanta or wherever you’ve recently moved? 💕 Have you tried Timeleft, RealRoots, or any other friendship apps or social experiences? 💕 Have beginner fitness classes, hobby groups, book clubs, or local meetups helped you find your people? 💕 And if you’re an introvert, single, or over 40, how are you navigating making new friends as an adult? Whether you’re a fellow Gen Xer, an introvert, a recent transplant, or simply someone looking for meaningful friendships, let’s talk about it in the comments! I’m looking for REAL suggestions, affordable ways to meet people, and opportunities to build genuine connections in Atlanta. Your recommendation might be exactly what someone else needs to see! 👇 DROP YOUR SUGGESTIONS IN THE COMMENTS! Tell me what city you’re in and what’s actually working for you. Let’s help each other find our tribe! If you enjoy honest conversations about introversion, starting over, adult friendships, and navigating life in a new city, LIKE, COMMENT, AND SUBSCRIBE. We’re figuring this thing out together!
