Are you building community everywhere except at home? We talk about the importance of community in our churches, workplaces, neighborhoods, organizations, and social circles. But what about the community within our own families? Being related doesn't automatically mean we're connected. And living under the same roof doesn't necessarily mean we're cultivating meaningful relationships. 🔥 Loving each other doesn't automatically create community. Community requires intentional connection. In this Spirnancial™ Insight, I'm challenging us to think about the relationships closest to us—and whether we're giving them the same attention we give to building community everywhere else. Family community can look different as our children become adults, as families grow, and as our seasons of life change. But intentional connection still matters. And here's something worth remembering: 🔥 Strong family community doesn't have to start with everybody. Sometimes it starts with somebody. This isn't about having a perfect family or pretending every family relationship is healthy. It's about recognizing opportunities to cultivate connection, care, communication, and belonging.
