The Lexus IS in it’s current chassis has been around for over a decade, and the 2026 IS350 F-Sport gets some major updates to keep it fresh as the last naturally aspirated V6 sports sedan on the market. From a bold new fascia to welcome interior changes, the IS stands the test of time with its reliability and continued polishing. Though does it still command an as tested $55,480 price? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏁 @Alllcarnews Spec Sheet: 3.0L V6 311HP & 280 lb-ft of torque 6-Speed automatic / AWD 0-60MPH in 5.2-5.7 seconds As Tested: $55,480 Built in Japan 🏁 How was it over 1-week? While we prefer the last exterior styling, this update still looks sporty and sharp. The real upgrade here is the interior, with a new dash, infotainment screen, steering wheel, ambient lighting, forged bambo trim.. it’s really nice, high quality feeling and solid. The interior NVH impressed us too, super quiet on the highway and around town, as is the compliant suspension - not too stiff and not too soft. As a sports sedan, the IS handles well, but just fine, more akin to Audi vs a BMW. The N/A V6 makes good sounds, until you turn on the speaker pumped out pops and bangs.. Overall its a well refined IS that stands the test of time and we are glad it exists. Hopefully a proper redesign is in the works though.
