Scotts Bridge Demolition - Part Two

Scotts Bridge over Broadgate in Lincoln is being demolished to make way for a new hotel. The work is part of a Lincolnshire Co-op scheme to build a new hotel and residential development at the nearby former City Square shopping centre. The bridge is a popular spot for photographers due to the scenic views it provides of the city's cathedral. Opened on the 27th June 1973 the bridge has spanned Broadgate for over 50 years offering safe passage to pedestrians over the busy road.
