GILNATA, which means OCEAN LEAF, hails from the historic island of Mioko in the Duke Of York Archipelago-East New Britain Province. The band was formed in the late 60s, and was actively participating in the famous Tolai Warvagire (or Tolai Show). A BOM', was recorded live in 1973 by Radio Rabaul (NBC) at the Tolai Warvagire.
