LRT 1 Asiaworld Station Update Lrt 1 Extension to Sucat Five New Stations Opening Soon.This is the latest update on the Asiaworld Station of Lrt line 1 which is now connected to PITX. To pave the way for the upcoming opening of its extension to Sucat, Parañaque, the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) has announced a temporary suspension of services for three weekends. This strategic move will allow for the seamless integration of the new line with the existing LRT-1 system. The targeted opening of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension Phase 1 is set for October 2024. New stations: Phase 1 will introduce five additional stations in Parañaque City: Redemptorist, MIA, PITX Asia World, Ninoy Aquino, and Dr. Santos. Travel time reduction: The extension is expected to significantly reduce travel time and benefit up to 600,000 passengers daily.
