I disappeared from content creation and this video explains why I left and why I am coming back.
I started creating motorcycle content to share real information in the Kenyan and African biking space at a time when most content was about speed and showing off. The channel grew but so did the pressure and the reality of creating content in Africa.
Platforms like YouTube and TikTok do not favour African creators equally. Low ad rates, audience geography, limited sponsorships, and low purchasing power make it difficult to sustain high quality motorcycle content. Passion alone cannot fuel bikes, buy gear, or pay for production.
In this video I talk about why I stopped creating content, the financial reality of being a creator in Africa, why sponsorships did not work at the time, the difference between follower count and real influence, and what almost made me quit completely.
What kept me going was the impact. Meeting people who started riding because of these videos reminded me that this journey mattered.
This year, I am coming back with a new approach. More research, more value, and more honesty. Content that helps bikers and creators make better decisions.
Subscribe, share, and let’s start this new chapter together.
