Mist of Ayr – Cathedral of Rock | Folk Rock (Official Music Video)

..''Mist of Ayr, roll on forever, Through the pines and the silver birches tall''.. Have you ever moved away from a place, only to realize that a part of you never really left? "Mist of Ayr"** tells the story of a man who left his home behind, wandered through the busy streets of London, and eventually realized that nothing could replace the place where he grew up. The Scottish coastline, the mist rolling over the hills, the sound of the northern wind, and a familiar light still burning in a cottage window. Sometimes home isn't where you live. It's where you belong. With this song, I wanted to capture that feeling through traditional folk storytelling, warm melodies, and a touch of rock. Nothing overly complicated. Just a story about leaving, remembering, and finally coming home. 🎬 BEHIND THE MUSIC & VIDEO For those interested in how I create my music, here's a little look at my production process. I started by developing the song's concept, story, and overall direction. I worked on the lyrics together with ChatGPT, then arranged the song and used Suno for the musical production and sound design. Once the arrangement and sound were where I wanted them, I took the track into Cubase for mastering. For the music video, I developed the visual ideas, created the video material, added effects, and edited the individual scenes together into the finished film. My workflow combines human creativity, AI-assisted production tools, and traditional audio and video editing. From the original idea to the final master and video edit, I'm involved in shaping the whole project. 💬 NOW I'M CURIOUS ABOUT YOU Is there a place you haven't visited in years but still consider home? Maybe a little village, an old house, or somewhere you spent your childhood. I'd love to hear about it in the comments. And if you enjoyed "Mist of Ayr", leave a like and consider subscribing to Cathedral of Rock. There's more music on the way. Thanks for listening and spending a few minutes here with me.
