I Will Dwell in Your Shelter | Psalm 91:1 | Christian Worship

I Will Dwell in Your Shelter | Psalm 91:1 | Christian Worship “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.” — Psalm 91:1 (ESV) Psalm 91 begins with the beautiful picture of someone who dwells in the shelter of the Most High and abides under the shadow of the Almighty. To dwell is more than to visit occasionally. It speaks of remaining, staying near, and making God’s presence the place where our hearts continually return. “I Will Dwell in Your Shelter” is a Psalm Meditation about choosing to remain near to God when life changes, when the road becomes uncertain, and when we cannot control the outcome. Dwelling in God’s shelter does not mean that believers will never face pain, fear, suffering, or danger. Psalm 91 does not ask us to deny the reality of difficult circumstances. Instead, it teaches us where to place our trust in the midst of them. We do not have to depend only on comfort or on what feels safe to us. We can draw near to the Most High, rest beneath His shadow, and remember that He remains faithful and near. May this song become a prayer: I will dwell in Your shelter, I will rest beneath Your shade. When the road becomes uncertain, You will still be near. May we learn not only to seek God when trouble comes, but to make His presence our abiding place day by day. == I Will Dwell in Your Shelter Psalm 91:1 “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.” Verse 1 When everything around me changes, Lord, And I do not know what lies ahead, I will dwell within Your shelter, And remember who You are. You are greater than my worries, Stronger than the fears I face; I will dwell beneath Your shadow, And remain within Your grace. Chorus I will dwell in Your shelter, I will rest beneath Your shade. When the road becomes uncertain, You will still be near. What great joy I've found within Your Word— You are faithful, You are near. I will dwell in Your shelter, And abide with You right here. Verse 2 Dwelling with You does not mean I will never face pain or fear; But it means that in the darkness, I can still draw near to You. I will not depend on comfort Or on what feels safe to me; I will place my trust beneath Your shadow, Knowing You are here with me. Chorus Verse 3 Teach me to remain beside You, Not just when the troubles come; Make Your presence my abiding, Make Your nearness feel like home. When I cannot change the outcome, When I cannot calm the storm, Let me stay beneath Your shadow, Held within Your faithful arms. Chorus Bridge Most High God, Be my refuge; Almighty, keep me near. Not because the path is easy, Not because I have no fear. Keep me dwelling, keep me trusting, Keep my heart within Your truth; In Your presence, I will remain, Lord, Resting all my hope in You. Final Chorus I will dwell in Your shelter, I will rest beneath Your shade. When the road becomes uncertain, You will still be near. What great joy I've found within Your Word— You are faithful, You are near. I will dwell in Your shelter, And abide with You right here. Even when the night is heavy, I will not run far from You; I will stay beneath Your shadow, Trusting You to see me through. Outro I will dwell in Your shelter, I will rest beneath Your shade. You are still my place of refuge When the path before me changes. Until I open Your Word again, Keep my heart close to You. == 🌻Multilingual Reflection Available Read the Scripture reflection and prayer for this song in multiple languages at: 👉 https://inhislovedaily.org/i-will-dwe... 🌻Available in: 中文 | မြန်မာ | Nederlands | Filipino | 日本語 | Português 🌍 MULTILINGUAL SUBTITLES 中文 | မြန်မာ | Nederlands | Filipino | 日本語 | Português Turn on CC / Subtitles and select your preferred language.
