BMW F20 118d B47D20 Turbocharger Core Replacement

I noticed a whining noise from the turbocharger at high RPM, so I decided to replace the core. I managed to source just the core through a broker in Germany, which wasn’t easy. I finished swapping out the core today, and tomorrow, I’m planning to install it back on the car. Fingers crossed everything works smoothly once it’s back together! A few days later... After installing the rebuilt turbocharger and driving the vehicle for about three days, I encountered no issues. Additionally, I noticed an improvement in throttle response when accelerating.
