Medics question the role of community health promoters

Health professionals have questioned the role of community health promoters, labelling the cadre as underqualified to administer healthcare to Kenyans. The worry by health workers is that kenyans attended to by community health promoters may not get top health care, and certain conditions may go undiagnosed or misdiagnosed.
