The Palm Trees of Dublin, Ireland - Phoenix canariensis, Washingtonia, Trachycarpus, Chamaerops

Come with me on this tour around Dublin, Ireland to see some of the many exotic palm trees that grow in the city. The climate in Dublin is exceptionally good, considering its northern latitude, for growing exotic plants due to several factors such as the British Isles being bathed in the warm waters of the Gulf Stream. Dublin is located at 53 degrees north, which is approximately at the same latitude as Edmonton, Canada. Filmed in may 2026
