IZZET GOOD? New Bloomburrow cards REVOLUTIONIZE Ruby Storm — Stormcatch Mentor + Into the Flood Maw

Bryant Cook plays Ruby Storm in a Modern League on Magic: The Gathering Online! These matches were played on: 07/31/24 ///// DECK DESCRIPTION ///// Experience the power of Ruby Storm in this exciting Izzet twist on the Modern deck, now featuring cards from the Bloomburrow (MTG BLB). The deck introduces new tech, including Stormcatch Mentor and Into the Flood Maw, replacing the previous Boros elements. This version maintains the explosive potential of the original while leveraging the synergy between rituals, card draw, and the new cards from Bloomburrow. The core strategy revolves around generating a massive amount of mana with Desperate Ritual, Pyretic Ritual, and Manamorphose. Ruby Medallion and Stormcatch Mentor work together to reduce the cost of red spells, allowing you to chain spells effortlessly. Ral, Monsoon Mage continues to reduce spell costs and provide additional card advantage, solidifying its role as a central piece of the deck's strategy. Past in Flames is a powerful engine, enabling the Flashback of rituals and cantrips to fuel the storm count for a lethal Grapeshot win. The addition of Flame of Anor provides crucial answers to problematic permanents like Drannith Magistrate, Dampening Sphere, and Magebane Lizard. We hope you enjoy this exciting gameplay!
