Building a Custom Friction Folder from Scrap

My first attempt to make a folding knife. For simplicity I went for a friction folder type knife, without active locking mechanism. The blade is made from a bearing segment (52100 steel) I had lying around. Handle made from 2 mm thick aluminium tube. Blade axis is a 3 mm brass wire. All in all, the project was very interesting and I had fun. In the future I will try different locking mechanisms
