LITTLE PLUM TREE The third song from MOVH STORY 1.0 – Stories From One Hill. There's an old plum tree on Varju Hill. Grandpa planted it when I was born. Almost sixty years later, it's still there. It has survived good years and bad ones. Once I nearly gave up on it. I put down what I had in my hand, gave the old tree one more chance... and it took it. The others arrived by themselves. Two grow almost on top of each other beside the gate. King and Queen. Another simply decided that the terrace was a good place to live. Nobody asked permission. Nature picked the place. So I work my way around them. I look after them. They grow the plums. Seems like a fair arrangement. And what happens to all those plums? Compote? Jam? Dried plums? Well... Let's not rush that decision.
