This was only Charlotte La Rue’s 3rd show with the band, and she is already proving to be an absolute force of nature. Her vocals are so clear and hit every mark with such perfect precision—she is truly incredible to witness! There is a reason RUSH is often cited alongside Frank Zappa as the ultimate "musician’s music." It is a specific kind of perfection that appeals to those who know just how difficult these parts are to play. Among the musicians spotted in the audience were members of fellow Rush tribute "NATURAL SCIENCE" and Pink Floyd tribute "WHICH ONE’S PINK?". When guys of this caliber are thoroughly impressed, you know you're onto something special. The band even threw in a major surprise with "Turn the Page." It was a wild coincidence—I had been listening to that song on repeat just the day before, thinking, "It would be awesome if MOOD LIFTERS did this one." Without me even asking, viola—they debuted it! In addition to the spectacular musicianship, the masterfully dialed-in sound was the icing on the cake. Robbie Hidalgo's audio engineering talent transformed the bowling-alley bar into a sonic experience on par with the best clubs on the Sunset Strip. Guitars snarled, vocals soared, and the low end rumbled in a precision mix that lifted the entire show into something transcendent.
