While leaving live cards like Consign to Memory and Mystical Dispute in the sideboard was a serious risk, a single maindeck copy of Consign countered their Nulldrifter, shutting down their card-advantage engine and securing a 2-0 win. A 2-0 result masks the missed sideboard decision, but doesn't justify it this match is an honest breakdown of the hidden costs of misreading an archetype in Modern.
