Kargil Gompa visit March 18th 2022

A small documentary of the first ever visit by a Buddhist public figure, His Eminence the 8th Chokyong Palga Rinpoche to Kargil Gompa on the holy occassion of ‘Tangpo Chonga’, full moon day of the 1st lunar month… His Eminence performed smoke offering puja to cleanse the place, hoisted Buddhist prayer flags, gave oral transmission of Vajracchedika Sutra (Dorjey Chodpa), & spoke about prevailing peace & communal harmony while practicing respective religions, & also made the promise to revisit on the full moon day of the 4th lunar month (Zhipey Chonga), Buddha Purnima day.
