Turkey To Attack India? Erdogan Grilled Over Mecca Pact With Pak; 'Dragged Into Munir's War'

If India attacks Pakistan, is Turkey attacked too? A Turkish opposition lawmaker asked that question in parliament, and it hit a nerve. Turkey has ratified the Mecca Pact with Pakistan and Saudi Arabia by 279 votes to 119, with its core idea being that an attack on one can be treated as an attack on all three. Opposition MPs warn that Turkish youth could be sent to die for other countries’ interests, from Pakistan’s fights with India to Saudi Arabia’s war with Yemen’s Houthis. Another MP warned the pact goes beyond routine defence. Rewind to Operation Sindoor, when Turkey backed Pakistan, India boycotted Turkish firms and Erdogan stayed defiant. Now Kashmir remarks at the UNGA have reopened old wounds. Ankara says the pact is defensive and troops need parliamentary approval. But will the real danger be indirect support? Watch the full story now to find out if Erdogan’s gamble backfires. #turkey #erdogan #pakistan #india #meccapact #operationsindoor #kashmir #saudiarabia #indiapakistan #unga #boycottturkey #geopolitics #timesaxis #toi 00:00 Turkey’s Mecca Pact Raises India-Pakistan Question 00:31 Turkey Ratifies Defence Pact With Pakistan, Saudi Arabia 01:25 Turkish Opposition Warns Against War With India 02:15 Could Turkey Be Dragged Into Yemen Conflict? 03:14 Pact’s Impact On Turkey’s Foreign Policy 03:47 Turkey’s Support For Pakistan During Operation Sindoor 04:29 India-Turkey Relations Hit By Diplomatic, Economic Fallout 05:23 Could Turkish Soldiers Fight Alongside Pakistan? 06:29 Turkey’s Kashmir Stand Angers India 07:08 Erdogan’s Bid To Make Turkey A Regional Power 07:51 Ankara Defends The Mecca Pact 08:29 What The Pact Means For India-Pakistan Tensions 09:02 Why The Pact Is A Warning For India AXIS is where the world is explained through India’s lens.
