Candlepin Bowling (From Sammy White's!) Scott Williams vs. Jim Barber

Air date: 10/1/1983. Special thanks to Nick Norcross for providing this show, who got it from the late Al Labelle in a Betamax tape format. This file was already digitized by someone else that Nick gave the Beta tape to if you're wondering since I don't have a Betamax player, but I cleaned up the audio and edited a couple of pieces of the file that Nick gave me. This airing also includes most commercials. This match from the Fall of 1983 featured Jim Barber going for his third win in a row, after defeating Phil Clough two weeks prior which featured his historic performance with a 466 triple that included four strikes in a row, and then also defeating Rich Bognanno the week after that. Scott Williams would be Jim's opponent in this match, and let me tell you, WOWWWWW this was a crazy match to watch no doubt. To say it was high scoring is a bit of an understatement, as this match featured pretty much a STRIKE fest and some unbelievable shot making that even Don Gillis had never seen before! When all was said and done, this show ended up having one of the highest combined score totals by both bowlers in the history of the show up to that point! Hope you all enjoy :) R.I.P. Don Gillis.
