From here, the journey continues onto the Vĩnh Hảo – Phan Thiết Expressway, one of the major modern expressways connecting the Central Highlands and the southern coastal region. The scenery changes dramatically along the way. The cool green mountains around Da Lat gradually give way to wider valleys, agricultural land and open countryside as we descend toward lower elevations. Along the highway, you can see green hills, distant mountains, farms, local roads and the changing landscape of southern Vietnam. The Vĩnh Hảo – Phan Thiết Expressway provides a smooth and relaxing driving experience, with long straight sections, modern road infrastructure and beautiful views of the countryside. On a clear day, the combination of blue skies, white clouds and green hills makes this section especially enjoyable for a road trip. Continuing south, we travel onto the Phan Thiết – Dầu Giây Expressway. This section takes us farther toward southeastern Vietnam, with the landscape gradually becoming flatter and more open. Traffic also becomes more noticeable as we approach the major road connections leading toward Đồng Nai and Ho Chi Minh City. The journey eventually reaches the Cẩm Mỹ Toll Plaza, marking another important point on the route toward the Long Thành – Dầu Giây Expressway. From here, we continue toward the Long Thành – Dầu Giây Expressway, one of the important highway connections linking southeastern Vietnam with Ho Chi Minh City. The road becomes busier as we get closer to the metropolitan area, creating a noticeable contrast with the quiet mountain roads around Da Lat earlier in the journey. This drive is not only about reaching the destination. It is also about experiencing the changing landscapes of Vietnam from the driver’s perspective — from the cool highlands and mountain scenery around Da Lat, through wide open countryside, modern expressways and finally toward the busy urban region surrounding Saigon.
