Exploring Hakone, Japan 🌿 Sacred Mountains, Lakeside Shrine & Volcanic Valley

Escape the busy streets of Tokyo and discover the quieter side of Japan. 🌿 In this video, I take a peaceful day trip to Hakone, a beautiful mountain region known for its volcanic landscapes, sacred shrines, and breathtaking views. Our journey begins with a scenic ropeway ride to Mount Komagatake, where panoramic views of Lake Ashi and the surrounding mountains await. We then visit Hakone Shrine, hidden among towering cedar trees beside the lake. This sacred place has a history stretching back more than 1,200 years. Our final stop is Owakudani, a dramatic volcanic valley where steam rises from the mountainside — a reminder that Hakone is still volcanically active.
