Walking in the Rain through Nikko Forest and Shrine | Tochigi, Japan

Walking in the rain through forest of Kanmangafuchi Abyss to Nikko Nikko Toshogu Shrine in Tochigi, Japan. The route starts along the Daiya River and we follow its bank to the iconic Shinkyo Bridge. From there we leave the water and walk up stairs and slopes in the greater Toshogu Temple grounds. This is midsummer, and the forest is lush green in the morning rain.
