Two hours on a tropical beach in the late morning, from 10 a.m. to noon. Turquoise water over white sand, deep blue beyond the reef, and trade-wind clouds drifting out to sea, their shadows passing over the water and the island. Light nets dance on the sandy bottom and flare up with every wave, while the sun climbs slowly and the palm shadows shift across the sand. Steady ocean waves and a few soft singing bowl tones, calm enough to work or study to. No AI-generated music, no looped clips, no stock footage, and no recorded sound: even the waves are synthesized live. Everything is played live by Frequency, a sound and light engine I designed. Each wave is announced to the picture about twelve seconds before it breaks, so you see it break the moment you hear it. The light nets flare up because a steeper wave focuses the sunlight more strongly, and the turquoise comes from the water itself, which swallows red light much faster than blue.
