Thursday, 27th August 2026 DIVINE ABANDONMENT CAUSED BY MISBEHAVIOUR TOWARDS GOD – Pt. 3 Topic: Refusal to obey an already received instruction Expecting God to speak what He has already addressed in Scripture 📖 Text: Psalm 119:105 — “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Sometimes, what we call “God’s silence” may actually be the consequence of refusing to obey an instruction He has already given. God does not need to repeat Himself when His Word has already made His will clear. We must not keep asking God for a new word while ignoring the written Word He has already given. Obedience to what God has revealed positions us to receive what He is yet to reveal. Don’t demand a fresh instruction when you are still disobeying the previous one. Go back to the Word, obey what God has said, and walk in His light. 🙏 Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to obey every instruction You have already given me through Your Word.
