Porcupine Mountains Backpacking | Porkies Grand Tour Finale

Welcome back to Love at First Hike. In the last episode of the Porkies Grand Tour, we rose at 4am on our 3rd day to reach summit peak tower for sunrise, hiked down and around mirror lake, climbed government peak for lunch, and filtered from Trap Falls before landing at GP1 for the night. Day 4 we hiked from GP1 to the top of Cuyahoga Peak along the Escarpment Trail to reach our next site at ES1. Mike and I made a round trip mission to Lake of the Clouds to fetch water and made it back to camp just before heavy wind and rain rolled in for the night. Today's plan? Take it slow and soak up the views from the Escarpment, a meetup at Lake of the Clouds for a resupply, and continuing west to BC1 along the highest point of the Big Carp Trail.
