A star exploded once. Why might its light appear again? George Walker follows supernova Athena behind the galaxy cluster MACS J0417, from the real Webb and Hubble observations to the predicted delayed image and the hidden mass that bends its light.
The predicted return has not been confirmed as of our 31 October 2026 source check. VENUS forecasts a window extending into early March 2027. This film labels actual Athena observations, other astronomical case studies, and explanatory diagrams separately.
