One of the BEST hikes in Georgia | Truso Valley🇬🇪

A vlog on my Truso Valley Hike back in late August! This hike was so wonderful and so many moments took me by surprise. Albeit I really didn’t do much research on the trail or what I would encounter but that added to the fun. It’s a 21-25 km round trip but we took a path I don’t think most folks do. Our maps led us to drive up to the hip of the mountain and start there rather than staying in the lower riverbed road. The blessing there was that we got to see the whole valley from up high in the beginning but had to finish the hike with a huge incline climb. I read after that if you take the lower River Gorge Road, it can be very dusty and noisy so you gotta pick your battles with each ahah I also LOVED the surprise that was the bright orange/ red mineral stream flowing out of the Abano Mineral Lake. I actually couldn’t believe my eyes. Getting to meet the Azerbaijani family living in the tent in the middle of the valley was so special as well.
