Camping Perfection - Winter Adventure in the Mountains - Campfire and Tunnel Tent

Ever wish you could just escape the stress of life and head into the mountains all alone? Join me, and my dog Indi, as we hike up the North Temple Valley, in the South Island of New Zealand, and find a remote spot to camp out for the night. We follow the Huxley River up the valley and catch a glimpse of the breath taking cirque covered in snow. It is the middle of winter and so I light a campfire and cook a delicious dinner over the fire, after gathering firewood and walking to fetch water. Rain starts to fall lightly shortly after we arrive, and I get to enjoy falling asleep to the sound of rain on the tent. This was a beautifully relaxing trip into nature, and helped me to reset for the week ahead. I hope you will enjoy coming along and connecting with the authentic experience of a night outdoors.
